Facilities & Directions
Plaster Stadium provides an excellent playing surface for Bearcat football. The structure was completed in 1985 and is named in honor of the late Robert W. Plaster, a Lebanon, Mo., businessman who was a major contributor to the fund-raising effort for the new facility. The playing surface at the stadium is natural grass, which was re-turfed in 1988. The stadium sports lights that were donated by an anonymous donor in 1998.
Encircling the football field is the Orlin B. Stewart Track and the Edwin C. Rice Facility. The track is named in honor of Orlin B. Stewart, who taught and coached at SBU for 38 years. He also served as athletics director from 1956-67.
Plaster Athletic Center
The Plaster Athletic Center opened in 2001 and houses the football coaching staff, meeting rooms, athletic training room, football locker room, and a banquet room with a balcony that provides a beautiful area for guests of SBU to watch a Bearcat football game. The building also hosts a state-of-the-art weight room.

From the North:
On MO-13: exit from MO-13 SOUTH right at the second BOLIVAR exit onto ALDRICH ROAD and travel east until you reach the third traffic signal at SPRINGFIELD AVE. Turn left onto SPRINGFIELD AVE. Turn left onto SELLS AVENUE at the main SBU entrance.
From the South:
On MO-13: exit from MO-13 SOUTH right onto BUSINESS LOOP MO-13/MO-83/ /SPRINGFIELD?AVE. Travel north until you see the SBU campus on your left. Turn left onto SELLS AVENUE at the main SBU entrance.
From the East:
On MO-32: turn left from MO-32 WEST onto BUSINESS LOOP MO-13/MO-83 at the first traffic signal. Go south approximately 0.8 miles. Turn right onto SELLS AVENUE at the main SBU entrance.
